Wet is the new dry for Bosch
I called the engineer because none of my washing dried in this so-called "dryer". According to him, in order to achieve a C rating, Bosch machines no longer actually dry your washing. The only way to get "Easy Care" items dry is to use the "Extra Dry Cottons" programme. Indeed, this is the only programme that gets any of my washing anywhere near dry, which makes all the fancy - and expensive - alternatives pointless.
Apparently complaints like mine are now run of the mill. For Bosch, wet is the new dry. The engineer told me that after "drying" in the machine I should spread my washing out to dry! If I had the space to do that, I could do it without using the dryer. Apart from that, I am in my 70s and arthritic and cannot heave heavy loads of washing about - I need a dryer which actually dries my washing. This one doesn''t.
