An overview of the Samsung UE40C7000 3D LED TV
This new LED TV from Samsung will propel you into the future with its 3D viewing. The Samsung 3D LED 7000 range offers an impressive array of features which includes a HyperReal Engine, Internet@TV, spectacular designs, Wide Colour Enhancer Plus, All Share, PVR, low energy consumption and much more.
As with all LED TVs, the Samsung UE40C7000 3DTVc uses less power than LCD and plasma TVs, with this range offering 50% less power than last year's models. Samsung have used eco-friendly materials too to further help the planet.
Due to the LED technology on board, the depth of this range is among the slimmest you can get. And although this means it's the perfect range to wall mount, Samsung has also included a super stylish Quad Stand.
The 3D technology used on this and all Samsungs 3DTVs is the 'Active Shutter' variant which is powerd by RealD. This type of 3D technology requires Samsung '3D Active Glasses', 2 pairs come in the box, additional pairs can cost as much as £150. Which means expensive family viewing for a family of 4. The 3D technology works by first blocking the left and then the right lens to deliver alternating images to each eye to create the illusion of 3D depth. Having tried out Sony, Panasonic and Smasung's 3DTVs Id have to say that the Samsung models are definitely the best value TVs although I'd have to say the picture quality from the Panasonic VT20 model had a better picture quality.
