The Samsung UE40C8000 3D TV has an immaculate design which is quite simply mind blowing. With so much state of the art technology on board it is very hard to understand how they manage to get it so slim. Buy they do, and there won't be many complaints about it as it is perfect to wall mount and will take up minimal space if you keep it on its stand.

Looks aside, the features on board are combined to deliver the ultimate viewing experience. And they do it extremely well too. The colours displayed are vibrant, bright, sharp, realistic and extremely detailed. Samsung have included their 3D HyperReal Engine which works very well in delivering the 3D experience, making you a part of the action. Images jump out at you and are presented with a realistic feel. We were a little dubious about the 3D glasses that are required in order to experience the 3D imagery. They are quite big and clumbersome, but as you begin to watch a 3D film, and witness the amazing effects, you soon forget you are wearing them. If you have been to the cinema to see a 3D film, you probably will have been impressed with the effects you saw, but the 3D effects are so much more enhanced when displayed on a 3D TV, and you are so much nearer to the action (the Samsung Active 3D glasses are much lighter and more comfortable too).

Samsung have included many media-tastic extras with this range too. Internet@TV is on board, bringing you all the entertainment you need with social networking connections, music, videos, games, news, etc. Its very easy to access too, with an ethernet connection or Samsung dongle. Skype is on board too, so you can chat to friends and family anywhere in world via your TV, and see them on screen.
