Lg BD570 Blu-ray Player

The LG BD570 Blu-ray player is a budget model, but has many great features along with a sleek, stylish design. It's main competitor is the Sony BDP-S370 which is in the same price range and has similar features. In our tests the LG's design came up tops, ever so slightly, due to its slim body and minimal appearance.

Once we delved into the features, the LG BD570 impressed with its connectivity at the front, under the flap. There is a USB port for use while accessing BD Live content,  and DLNA is a great feature to use to connect your laptop or PC to display photos and videos etc. 

Blu-ray discs load quickly and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the images displayed. Full of vibrant, sharp colour and smooth movement. Even darks scenes were shown well with a great amount of detail.

The sound was reproduced very well, although it lacked any real life, and left us turning up the volume to get a louder amount of disappointment.

The LG BD570 Blu-ray player offers a great performance for a budget model, even with the sllghtly lacking sound, you won't be disappointed with this model. You could also try:
