Not recommended for battery use
What a disappointment. It certainly works better when plugged in than anything we''ve had before for where we live in a valley, but we really bought this radio to use when mobile in the hope that we got more reliable reception and couldn''t believe that it needed 6 new batteries every day. What''s the point? I have an ancient transister radio that works better and haven''t needed to put batteries in it for years. So, despite the fact that it wins on many levels, it fails completely on the reason we bought it.
