Compaq Presario 3GB laptop
I bought this machine in April 2009 so is now 18 months old.
I have had no problems with the laptop and have nothing but praise for it.
The screen is perfect for movies and thus great for everything else.
Its faster than my work laptop of which is a ThinkPad. The battery lasts longer than the 3hrs is supposed to, but this would change I guess if you used the dvd drive or wifi constantly.
I highly recommend the Presario with a intel Celeron dual core proc''. The 250GB is more than I''ll need for years and greater than many still today. The ram that of 3GB is greater than much more expensive machine even 18 months later. We are searching for a computer for my daughter and 3GB machines are approx £400-500.
One of the best purchases I have made and certainly the best computer/laptop I have purchased
