Do not buy De Dietrich anything. Our ''top of the range'' oven caught fire 14 months after buying it. Customer Service is non existent and the ''service'' department is useless, they just farm it out to a company, who do not answer their phones so trying to get an appointment is nigh on impossible. We have had two problems in the first year with this oven and now this third one (a fire) was out of warranty and they are trying to wash their hands of it. For the cost of the products, go for another brand, my experience with Miele has been terrific on all items I have bought. Also this oven is noisy with a very poor touch control for £800 + VAT - my mother''s Miele equivalent is so much quieter. De Dietrich ovens look good but they are not the quality they claim to be. Avoid at all cost or prepare for utter frustration!

Never ever buy a De Dietrich kitchen.

Never ever buy a De Dietrich kitchen. When something goes wrong you are in deep trouble. The ‘customer service’ is the worst and most horrible we have ever experienced. It took NINE phone calls over FOUR HOURS to even get an appointment for a service engineer to call. Staff are uninformed, inept, unhelpful, uncaring and hopelessly disorganised. The four year parts warranty (you must first apply for it – why?) is not recognised, credit card details are demanded before anything else is discussed but they do not know what the standard call out charge will be. Appointments are then said to be made by another department ‘who will ring you back’. They do not. We finally got an appointment by calling the De Dietrich UK Head Office. Ask for Greg Teubner, ‘Service’ Director – 01256 308 000 - and refuse to be fobbed off. The engineer then called on the day BEFORE that given to us! With no spares. A simple repair took weeks. We shall never buy another De Dietrich product. Perhaps they make their money in direct sales to builders and kitchen installers because they treat final users like dirt.

NEVER BUY DE DIETRICH

oven was changed 3 times in the first place. Last month ( 2 years old and not used every day) Oven light stays on permenantly and oven only flicks out cold air. UTTER UTTER UTTER waste of money

Do not buy this product

I have had 2 De Dietrich Combi microwaves. The fIrst one lasted 18 months (DME555XE1) The second (DME795X) lasted 10 months My old Panasonic lasted me over 25 years
