Very pleased with this machine at first but there appears to be a major design flaw which makes it possibly unsafe. Water condenses on the inside of the lid and when this is raised the water flows, via the hinge, into the inside of the machine and then seeps out again at the bottom - close to where the mains lead enters! Kenwood have been informed and the machine is currently with one of their service centres. If this is a design fault (rather than a fault with my machine) I guess that this may well justify a product recall!
