I went out with no intention of buying a tv, but after a browse around my local branch of Comet, I came home with this absolutely fantastic television. The 46 inch version was on display against top end models from all the major manufacturers including Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Toshiba and Philips, and it clearly outclassed them all with it''s wonderful pin sharp detailed picture, great natural clean colours, and top notch black level performance. The only problem was the £800.00 price tag and the sheer size, which would have been too big for my smallish lounge. I picked up Comet''s latest brochure and there on the front page was the identical 37 inch version for an amazing £538.00 plus a FREE BluRay player worth £244.00, effectively making the price for the tv less than £300!!!. My dedit card came out immediately and I have absolutely no regrets. The performance is identical to the larger screen version and just goes to show you should choose a tv with your own eyes rather than reading reviews and checking specifications. I would have gladly paid £538.00 for the tv alone, but the addition of a free BluRay player made it the deal of the century. I would urge anyone to check this tv out before parting with more money for reviewer''s ''Flavour of the Month''. I really could not recommend this Sharp tv high enough, just buy it and you won''t be disappointed.
