Hitachi L19D01U Lcd Tv 50CM

I bought this TV last week and took it back to Currys after 5days as it was faulty...where do I begin? The remote control didn''''''''t seem to connect with the tv, so you would press the on/off button and the tv would take 10mins to decide what to do...then you would try to change channel, and again 10mins would pass,by which time you have gotten bored & pressed another button & another...and nothing worked. When the TV got a tiny bit confused it switched itself off audio very poor, tinny sound the channels would often freeze (& I know this isn''''''''t a signal issue as I have other freeview channels that work fine with no problem) the epg is tiny...I have good eyesight & I couldn''''''''t see it from a couple of metres away However, it looked pretty (I bought the white),the DVD worked fine &when you don''''''''t change channels the picture is fab...but it EXTREMELY temperamental & it drove me insane waiting for the channels to change...I wanted to chuck it out of the window. Took it back to Curry''''''''s & apparently they are aware of the issue (why did they sell it to me??) In summary, don''''''''t bother...

I recently bought the 22" version of this TV and after having to exchange it once I have today taken it back again for a refund. The DVD player didn''''t work properly, the CD started to skip and freeze at random intervals, very annoying whilst you are trying to watch a film! The TV often lost signal and the picture froze often (even though the signal to other tv''''s linked up to the same ariel have been fine.) The remote control was slow and didnt seem to work at all at times. For something which orignally looked like a bargin deal it turned in to a very disappointing buy!

I recently bought the white version of this product, after 5 days it was replaced by Currys and now we are tearing our hair out again. Where to start? The set turns itself on/off at random intervals, the remote is at best slow to react or does nothing at all,the picture freezes at various times and the only cure is to turn off at the mains and re-start tho whole process. the list of problems is endless and we are now fed up to the back teeth with it! As I type it has just switched on again with me in the next room. When on and stable the picture is excellent, the set looks good and its features should be outstanding---but beware!
