Sony NWZ-S638F Walkman MP3 Player

Sony have rolled out a few new ranges of MP3 players and very attractive they are too. We take a look at the S Series and see if they carry the Sony charm. The S Series are a lot slimmer than previous models and Sony state that they are the slimmest yet of all their MP3 Players with a depth of only 7.5mm. The 2" display is bright and clear and displays images either landscape or horizontally and with only 3 function buttons/dials on the front it is minimalistic.

 

These super new MP3 players have great features and a few firsts which Sony are always good with. Sony include noise cancelling earphones with the NWZ-S638F, which offer, DSEE, Clear Bass and Clear Stereo Technologies (great on an aeroplane!). On board there is also a new function called SensMe which automatically creates a playlist to match your mood with either ballads or rock songs for example. Transferring music is so easy and can be moved from iTunes in the form of music, videos, podcasts and playlists and most formats of music can be stored to add to the ease. There are 10 various wallpapers to choose from to funk it up a bit or you can choose from your own stored photos. Sony have also thrown in 8 music videos which are pre-loaded and vary to suit all. An ultra long battery life will please all too with up to 40 hours of music playback and up to 10 hours of video playback.
