Had a few probs!

Had a problem with the ''fridge'' freezing food in the draws at the bottom. So anything in the draws gets frozen like... yoghurts, fruit & veg. Had several visits by the engineers & they have done their ''very best'' to sort it but it wont stop freezing! The engineers have come across this problem before & have managed to fixed it, but just not mine!! So, now they have taken pictures of the ice building up & have sent them to AEG head office for them to decide what to do next. Has anyone else had similar problems??

Good size fridge. Great to have on-tap water & ice for the kids. Well made & sturdy doors.As someone else mentioned - it is difficult to pull out the draws to clean in and around the fridge. Freezer''s not big enough for a family of 5 - need a spare one kept in the garage.

i purchased the aeg american fridge freezer 5 months ago. It is a beautifully designed machine and is lovely to look at with acres of room inside the ''fridge. However, i have had nothing but trouble from it. After a couple of months, the digital read out had to be replaced (after a couple of visits from engineers) Two months later, it has failed to work altogether and AEG have promised to replace it with a new machine. However, they don''t have any in stock and I have to wait until the end of August at the latest! Perhaps I have just been unlucky, but I wont know until I have a new fridge installed.

looks and design. Nice heavy door.Difficult to get out salad baskets for cleaning. Stopped working after a couple of months!
