Sumvision E-gem Enclosure 2.5 Inch Sata Hard Disk Caddy wxt E822-2 Drive Case

I bought a Sumvision 2.5 inch WXT-E822-2 as an external hard drive for my Mac PowerBook G4. But it does not show on the desktop or on the disk utility although a blue light flashes when it is connected to the USB socket. It is impossible to contact the firm or to find out what to do. When I try to search the internet for a driver I am sent to some organisation (whose name I am not allowed to include in this review) who demand money before dealing with the query. I have obviously made a mistake. I see from the many other internet comments that other people are having similar problems with Sumvision products. My advice is buy from a reputable manufacturer. Don''t touch Sumvision with a 50 foot bargepole
