Where do I start

When I first saw the camera for under £80, I first thought, cheap, then I read a few reviews. I gave it a shot, Happy ? Well, first off, its small , light, and very easy to use and set up. Battery life is great, charge it, go away for 2 weeks shooting everything you see, gather 300+ photos, and you still have half a battery. Great !!, It has a very nice clear bright screen and is truly packed with lots of features. The macro mode is great, even in low light, I love macro shooting. The general quality of the pictures at 8m pixels is very good too. No....the not so good. First, if you do get this camera, be sure to get at least a class 4 SD card, this really is needed if you intend to keep your finger on the trigger, class 4 cards and above read and write quicker than lesser classes. I found this out the hard way, having shot a few photos and at first seeming happy with them on the quick view, Playing them back via the camera screen caused the camera to lock up and restart, this then was caused by a write error and again was evident when you insert the memory card in to your PC, the photo had litteraly split and slipped and was totally unreadable. So again CLASS 4 or above. After 7 months of owning it, a really annoying error has occurred, when I power the camera on, the lens pops out ( as it should ) bleeps 3 times and shuts down. There is a simple but tedious thing to do before i take any snaps no. When I power on, I have to grab the lens as it comes out. then its business as usual. On the whole, its a good budget camera with some great features and takes great photos. The build quality is half decent and wont dissapoint.
ProsCons
Feature rich Slim, light and easy to use Great picture qualityCard read and write errors, GET A CLASS 4 SD OR ABOVE to ensure this is fixed. Lens casing poorly constructed resulting in camera shutdown. Remedy in my review.

Samsung L100

I recenly received this camera as a birthday present i found it excedingly good, he attention to detail when talking photos giving the occuper a full camera experiences where you can twiddle and fix around with your photos, the only thingi might say is that the sound is not the greatest on this camera, but taking all of its other outstanding details in, i would proudly pronounce this as my camera, its cute, easy to carry around, and takes good photos, and it isnt to expensive! what else could you want from a camera? outstanding
