Panasonic have produced another winner!
I have owned a Panasonic analogue DVD recorder since they first came onto the market, but recently upgraded my TV to a new Panasonic LCD model with Viera Link. To be honest, the new TV made the old DVD recordings look just OK - nothing special. So being a Panny fan I recently purchased thir latest ''Freeview'' offering, the DMR-EX78 and connected it to my TV via the normal scart plus an HDMI cable. What a result - this model is a winner. Fabulous picture and sound quality, along with upscaling and a very respectable 250GB internal Hard Drive. Set-up is a dodle and if you do have a Viera Link TV then life becomes very simple - just one remote for both TV and DVD Recorder. If you are seriously thinking about buying a new DVD hard disc recorder, then give this model some serious consideration - you will not be disappointed.
