Bought this washing machine and right from start the knob use to stick a bit when trying to alter program now the program just clicks through the washing cycle and wouldn''t even empty had to empty it by hand floor wet through clothes wet through and just out of guarantee DON''T buy this washer DON''T buy Hotpoint they charge the earth for repairs £145.00 for my daughter in laws washer repair and only in house 15 mins

Hotpoint washing machine WML 560 PGAK

I purchased this washing machine and installed in correctly. Did a pre-wash and noticed a burning chemical smell but thought it was normal. Put in a wash and the smell changed to one of burning, then all the electrics downstairs went. Set the washer going again and it began to spark from the base, electrics went again - all I could think is thank goodness I had not left it un-attended. Hotpoint offered a replacement but could not fit that around my holiday arrangements so was without a washer for nearly 3 weeks. Hotpoint offered to install it as a good will gesture but I had to chase them all the way until it was finally done. Up to now everything fine but I just don''t feel easy about it - fingers crossed it will not be a fire hazzard. Would not buy Hotpoint again. Would like to know if anyone else had problems with this model?

this is the best washing machine i have bought for along time it do,s a great and thuhter job of washing your clothes and nearly drys your clothes once it has spun
