i purchased this product just over 2 years ago from comet. Since i have had this it has defrosted several times. At the begining of the year i was informed that it was on a safety recall due to a potential fire risk. Several weeks later i had a module kit fitted and this was meant to rectify the problem. Since then i have had non stop problems my fridge is currently reading +19 which after research have found that this is extremly common. After much research i have discovered that this model has the same cooling system as other affected models which should be placed on a full recall. My fridge has had temperature problems for atleast 23 days which is still ongoing and as you can imagine has made life extremly difficult saying we are a working family and have 3 young children. I took the extended warranty out with comet and as of yet they have not solved my issues with this product. Further info can be found on the bbc oneshow website about what to do with faulty products - which includes a template letter if you have problems with rectifying any fault. Think twice before buying this american fridge.
