This is a WONDERFUL sony camera 13,6 megapixels. Great autofocus. Great stability. I''m 62 with the usual visual deficits of age ergo the usefulness of the autofocus. I''ve also developed a slight tremor of the hand ergo the usefulness of the stabilization function. This camera takes great pictures and compensates for my particular problems. It's entirely programable. So useful for others without my particular problems. I researched and bought this camera on the web from an abrasive fellow in Brooklyn and at the time felt rather unhappy with the transaction. Now I must say nothing could be farther from the case. This is a great little camera. I''m qite in love with it. If you do lots of shooting--which I have come to do because of the ease of use and the quality of the images--opt for the longest life batteries available and a multiple battery charger. Wish I had.
