An okay camera but by no means near the best
Okay is about the best I can say about it. Cost me £75 when I bought it. Had it about 12 months but looks like it''s been 5 years. Case soon looks ''tatty'' but I suppose that shows it''s rugged. The screen is nice and to be honest this camera does take nice pictures. It absolutely eats AA batteries so I prefer a camera with a powerful Li-ion battery.
The video is not so good but if you want a ''good enough'' video and don''t mind it looking like a vhs tape then it''s good enough.
Zoom is quick but unfortunately the time from taking a photo to taking the next is a few seconds so it''s okay for snaps.
I bought this because I always have Samsung television equipment but if I had bought the camera first I think I would have gone for something different.
I now own a Hewlett Packard and a Pentax which I find are more acceptable.
