I have had this sony sat nav now for 8 months and found it to be absolute terrible. Very very slow to load up, the sucker mount in my view is useless and potentially dangerous as mine keeps falling off ( and yes i cleaned the screen with IPA) You have to touch the sceen various times to get it to prompt. I contacted Sony about the screen mount and the reply was absolutely useless - " buy another mount". I did note that one of the motoring mags had a trail with the 83 and they complained of the mount falling off constantly.
