My previous tumble dryer was purchased in 1994 and ran successfully for 16 years before we decided to replace it. The Hoover VisionHD has managed a spectacular six months before packing up and since then a succession of engineers have tried and failed to solve the problem. Whilst the product comes with a "guarantee" all that the "guarantee" effectively offers is an assurance that if the product breaks down, someone will eventually have a look at it and attempt to solve the problem. If that means that the customer will be without drying facilities for weeks / months, then so be it! If only I had suffered from the thermostat problems that I understand are a common Hoover fault then perhaps I might be a more satisfied customer. The dryer does come with a variety of settings which is actually quite handy but overall the drying performance is not great. For example, the "bone dry" setting does not always mean that your clothes are "bone dry". I wouldn''t recommend anyone to purchase this product.
