Toshiba 46XF355DB 46" Lcd Tv

The new Toshiba XF range of LCD TV has a special feature that definitely makes it stand out amongst all others with the thinnest frame around. The super slim frame measures just 23mm thick! It looks amazing and with such a thin frame, there is so much more screen to be seen and makes films looks so much better. There is no glaring distraction to take your gaze away from your viewing pleasure, such as lit up buttons or a glow from anywhere, just all screen, which is really just what we want. The depth is only 135mm, so will look great wall mounted. The stand is quite small too, but is strong and solid to hold such a beast of a TV.

We love the features that Toshiba pack in to their TV's, even the lower spec models seem to have the best of the bunch of features and it reassures you that you will achieve a great image. Toshiba's Active Vision picture processing system is there along with Dynamic Gamma Curve Correction to ensure the best colours by constantly adjusting the contrast, Wide Colour Gammut backlight technology also assists with the colour reproduction. A HD 1080p image will be provided with the highest resolution possible and sound is boosted with SRS WOW for 3 dimensional sound and an ONKYO Speaker System. Connectivity is ok with 3 HDMI's.

The Toshiba 46XF355DB is an all round good performer and we didn't expect great things from it as there are new Toshiba's out now with improved specifications, however this is very reasonable priced and does well. Colours were reproduced well and were bright and vibrant although on lighter shades they did seem a little wishy washy but a few alterations put that right. Blacks were deep and detailed and overall detail was stunning. HD images were superb and displayed an amazing amount of fine detail and colour which was kind of breathtaking.

With an affordable price and great performance, the Toshiba (lcd tv) 46XF355DB is a great tv with a stunning design.
