I bought a Hotpoint Double Oven DE89X1 in April last year. Within a couple of weeks the oven would not get up to temperature so I called their customer services. After 2 visits, the temperature sensor and mother board were replaced. Great I thought .... Since then, I have had the timer replaced, and am now waiting for new buttons to be sent out to see if that solves the problem of the timer button disappearing into the oven panel. The engineer told me that this would not work but that Hotpoint would insist on it being done. Now waiting for tem to contact me again but their customer services is probably the worst I''''ve ever dealt with so I wount hold my breath. Avoid at all costs - very expensive produce, appalling quality / customer services.
