Not worth the money

Nice enough to look at and easy to clean, but unfortunately I didn''''t pay the extra money for the fan version of this oven and it seems to take forever to cook a big roast. Another downside is the metal knobs get very hot when using the grill. And according to the manufacturers instruction booklet you don''''t need another shelf, but I disagree, because it''''s not wide enough for two family size roasting tins together.

Hotpoint eg900x

Bad buy, I got one four years ago within the first six months it had to be replaced by a new one as the so called stainless steel started to rust, it looked terrible. The latest is the thermostat seem to be gone and as this oven is in our holiday home and has the equivalent of about 8 months of actual use this is not a good sign, my advice, do not buy hotpoint cooker.

problem with door

I was attracted to the style of this stainless steel range cooker with its ease of cleaning and its stainless steel body it seemed to be just what I required, so I bought one two years ago. It worked like a dream and cooked to perection, but now the oven door is not closing fully and it is effecting the cooking time making the oven less efficient. There are no visible adjusters although the door is simple to remove for cleaning. Such a lovely cooker what a pity the designers did not put an adjusting mechanism that would make this problem very solvable. Mind you I love the cooker but calling out service personnel in Ireland is very expensive. Anyway I suppose I will have to live with it at least it still cooks!

ProsCons
so easy to clean, great space between rings . very easy on gas.oven door problems.
