Kenwood FP730 Food Processor

Like the other reviewers on this site, I absolutely loved this product when I first bought it. It has dozens of attachments, is easy to use, has a large capacity bowl, and should be every busy cook''s dream. However, after 6 months use it is a totally different story. I have discovered that the bowl, lid and jug are made out of cheap and nasty plastic that does not stand up to repeated use. Already they are full of cracks and scratches, great big cracks that threaten to leak soon. I had to replace the bowl two months after I bought the Food Processor because it was dropped by my partner (onto carpet), and shattered all over the floor. I have banned him from touching the replacement bowl, but it is scratched and cracked again already just through repeated use and washing up. I use the Food Processor a couple of times a week. I used to have a Kenwood Food Processor prior to this that lasted for many many years with no problems at all, I can''t understand why the new models are so flimsy. Don''t buy this unless you intend to keep buying new bowls and jugs for it every few months.
