Split drum.....twice!!
Having previous owned a White Knight, I replaced it with the Whie Knight 84AW in March 2007 (influenced by Which Magazine review of dryers). In February 2008 I had to call an engineer out because the drum was split badly around the three bolts/screws in the centre of the drum at the back. Drum was replaced free of charge as it was still under guarantee. However I''ve just emptied my dryer and noticed that some clothes have rips in! The drum has split again and there is a large shard of metal sticking out which explains it. The dryer originally cost me £180 when I bought it in March 2007 and I''ve justed googled the cost of a replacement drum which is just under £100. By the time I call an engineer out I might as well buy a new dryer.....not a White Knight one though!
