Great LCD

Good picture, loads of inputs, 3 HDMIs!! I was suprised at how good the picture is and although LCD may not yet give as good a picture as CRT it is still impressive and they save a load of space, I have yet to try HD. A 32" LCD is almost as big as a 36" CRT screen. Overall very pleased. Much better value than the Sony which I nearly bought.
ProsCons
Connectivity, Picture quality.Nothing

Toshiba 32WLT68 Regza LCD HD TV review

Design
THe Toshiba 32WLT68 32” LCD TV definitely gets a tick for stylishness.  Now it hasn’t changed much since its previous incarnation as the 32WLT66 but never the less, it has stood the test of time well.  What we like about the Regza LCD is its simplicity.  The 32WLT68 has kept itself slim and very minimalist.  The front is still piano black with straight edges and the only thing to detract from the blackness is the silver strip across the front bottom and the attractive pedestal stand.  All the connections are placed either on the right side of the LCD or around the back.
Setup/Installation
The Auto-set function of the 32WLT68 means that once the Toshiba HD LCD is switched on it starts tuning in on its own and save your settings on its 100 channels.
Features

This is an upgrade on the WLT66 Regza range so what have we got?  Not a lot really.  The majority of the spec is the same as the Toshiba WLT66 range, but obviously there are a few tweaks.  Well the first thing and worth mentioning before anything else is the fact there are three HDMI inputs which is real foresight from the Toshiba camp, and means we can now plug in the SkyHD, the Xbox 360 and our Blu-ray player without anyone feeling left out.  And to makes sure we can get to them easily, they’ve put two at the back and one on the side.  Other things include a screen format is 16:9 and a display resolution of 1366x768.  The contrast ratio is 3500:1.  The WLT68 range also boast the Active Vision M100 or 100HZ device which instead of refreshing the picture 50 or 60 times a second it’s doubled so the signal scanning is 100 or 120 HZ, which reduces afterglow.  We’ve already mentioned the three HDMIs but the Toshiba WLT68 also comes with a component video, two Scarts, side AV input, PC input, rear audio output, headphones, optical audio out and sub woofer output.  Being the T range the Toshiba LCDs also come with a digital TV tuner and auto set-up,  SRS WOW for sounds and an Onkyo speaker system attached as well as DNR – which ensures superior picture quality by cleaning images and reducing picture noise, which is particularly good for those older movies that sound a bit crackly.

Overall Opinion

On the whole if you’ve already got a Toshiba Regza WLT66 wide screen television we’re not sure whether it would be worth upgrading to the WLT68 range but if you haven’t got one we’d definitely recommend it.  The  Toshiba 32WLT68 is a delight to look at in its minimalist style and would fit into any room.  And while we’ve not fully tested it out we know if the previous models are anything to go by this is going to be a damn fine LCD.

ProsCons
3 HDMI connections Great picture and sound quality Easy to use Active Vision M100 Onkyo sounds Not too different to WLT66
