Within the space of 2 months I've now had 3 different sets all of which I've had to return owing to the fact that after spending over £800 on an Hd tv I dont expect to have to put up with a picture that keeps flickering as the contrast levels keep changing.We chose this set because it blended in well with our other equipment and we liked the look of it.The matt surround was also important as we didn't want reflections around the screen to distract us from it.The set was very easy to set up and is capable of great pictures even on sd although on sky HD the picture can be stunning.Unfortunately the flickering detracts from its performance to the extent that I can't live with it.My retailer (john lewis)has sent 2 different engineers around to confirm the sets were faulty and both have told me they have each reported 2 or more additional sets in my area with the same fault.
