Manfrotto 058
This is a beast of a tripod, I''ve used it for several years and it does just about everything! From weddings where I''ve had to stand at the back of the room on a set of steps to shoot over heads (it really does go quite high) to low angle landscapes standing in wellies in a fast running (but shallow-ish) river. Absolutely rock solid, used with everything from digital up to a 10x8 plate camera. If it has one fault and to be honest it''s not really a fault considering the size and what it can do, it IS heavy. I have hauled it around, but if you want to trek off into the wilds, I''d suggest something a lot lighter. As a studio tripod and for gp work, no faults,
