Samsung HD Ready LCD 32
I also bought my Samsung LE32R73BD LCD TV back in 2005 and have never had any problems with it. I paid about £1000 at the time. I have moved house a number of times since due to my job and the TV which has travelled everywhere with me including Ireland, the UK and Europe. with all the travelling, disconnecting/reconnecting, packing/unpacking etc, has never failed me once..... I have never had any problems whatsoever with the TV and have practically used it 24/7 since I first bought it. I have had it connected to my Laptop, PC, XBox 360 and even my mobile/cell phone and the picture is as fresh and crisp today (June 2010) as it was when I first bought it. I would recommend the TV to anyone as a very reliable, high quality "safe buy". The only slightly negative thing I can say about this particular model is that although it is "HD Ready", it only has a maximum screen resolution of 1360 x 768 at 60Hz which back in 2005 was excellent and as good as you could get. Now however in 2010, most "HD Ready" TV's come with the 1080p/1080i as standard. The reason I mention this is that this particular model may not be able to fully realise the potential picture quality delivered by todays Blu-Ray and HD players. Although to be honest, I have never noticed any great difference in picture quality between this model and the 1080p and 1080i's. In saying that though, my eyesight isn't what it used to be :-). Anyway, in conclusion, it has been one of the most reliable TV's I have owned (and I''ve owned a few over the years) including Sony, Panasonic and JVC. So Happy Viewing people..........!! :-)
