InFocus IN72 Multimedia Projector

InFocus IN72 Multimedia Projector

You may have heard the phase "size doesn't matter" bantered around.  Pay no attention.  Size, officially does matter, and the bigger the better.

Which is why we love the look of the new InFocus home cinema projector.  Not only is the design sleek, black, and very pleasing to the eye, but the image it produces is superb.

In the past, InFocus have catered for the top end of the market, but it's now finally produced something that will challenge plasma screen television head on.

If you're looking for the full on cinema experience in the comforts of your own four walls, the InFocus is the thing for you.  And here are the reasons why: it's reasonably priced, it gives high-definition image, the picture is much bigger than one seen on a 40 inch screen, and it looks really cool.

Setting up the system is fairly easy.  All output sockets are clearly marked at the back of the projector, including two HDMI sockets.  The menu to make changes is self explanatory and easy to maneover around, especially when using the remote control.  And the picture quality is faultless.

So what are is the downside?  The thing likely to cause problems is setting the throw distance (the distance between the lense and your wall), but this is a problem faced by any projector users and generally involves a bit of simple calucating.  The fan is also a little loud, although it's better than its predecessors.

If you're serious about your home entertainment, £1700 is a snip to pay.
