Indesit UFAN300 Upright Freezer

We brought this freezer from Argos. Obviously we looked it over when it got delievered, all seemed fine, until ofcourse we turned the freezer on and actually started to use it. First of all, the freezer drawers were dropping off the the supports when we opened them and jamming whenever we tried to get them back in, so getting fed up with crushing our fingers and putting our backs out every time we wanted to get something out of the freezer i phoned Indesit. Nobody knew what was wrong with the freezer so they sent out and engineer who told us that parts were missing and it''s come out of the factory that way and that we weren''t the only ones with this problem. So he''d ordered the parts for us and they''ll be here in a week. A week later, no parts so we requested for an engineer to come back. No engineer. So after three phone calls to hotpoint (2 of which weren''t even logged) and 4 weeks of waiting we finally got booked on for another visit from the engineer with our missing parts. Behold the parts still hadn''t arrived 6 weeks on and he cancelled saying he''d be back in 5 days. 5 days later another phone call to cancel because "the delivery driver had been ill" and finally, nine weeks, ten phone calls and three cancelled appointments later the engineer arrived at the door with the "parts" which consisted of a piece of platic with biro marks still on it that he''d bodged up and cut notches out of with a pair of scissors and wacked on the sides of the drawers before making a rather haistey exit. I''m sure that''s exactly what the parts from the factory that we''ve waited 9 weeks for were supposed to be, not likely. Customer services were patronising, rude and possibly the most unhelpful bunch of people i''ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. So now we are stuck with a £300 "energy efficient" freezer, which is clearly NOT energy efficient as it hasn''t even been built right, with bodged up edges, with drawers that still jam and nobody at Indesit is the slightest bit interested that we''ve been ripped off. Do not buy this product, it''s an absolute waste of your time and money!
