Culd be better - Could be worse
I bought this TV two weeks ago! First impressions were that the picture was excellent when compared to ALL other brands (I did my homework!) and sound was awful! I had a Panasonic 25" CRT before and to be fair, the sound on that was exceptional and this may be the cause of my initial "horror". Two weeks in and I think the sound is now acceptable (not brilliant in other words)I still see TV's in shops and think their picture doesn't hold a candle to the LG - they all seem to have a mosaic effect to the picture when this one doesn't (even with the same feed!).
Connectivity is good with 2 scarts, component in, 1 HDMI socket, variable sound out (RCA), RGB in, S video and 2x RCA in. It also has an RS232 port - haven't seen one of them since the BBC B!! Having said the connectivity is good, it would have been nice to have a fixed audio out.
All in all, for a little over £800, quite an outstanding buy (I've put the sound through my Hi-Fi)
