Whirlpool S20D RSB33-A/G American Fridge Freezer

Reviews

S20D RSB33 A/G

after reading your review. i realise that fridge freezer repairers are saying it is an extremely pricey machine with an inherent fault which stops the ice maker from working. this then sends messages to the thermostat which will then work when it wants to. it will display -18 degrees then everything thaws. £1,500.00 worth of rubbish
ProsCons
good points it as useful as a coffin it looks OK but you don''t want to open it.a build up of ice behind the back plastic panels. thaw for 24 hours. it works again. a back up freezer is a must.

Over complex design and fault-ridden

This brand of fridge freezer has a fundamental design fault which causes incessant clicking, ice maker and water feed failures. Fix is a few capacitors on a board which was incorrectly designed in the first place, but Whirlpool charge 200 pounds for a fix. The whole design is over-complex and spare parts are extremely expensive. Apparently the OFT is investigating a price cartel on this machine.
ProsCons
NoneDesign, spare parts cost, poor electronics
