Delonghi Argento KBX3016 Cordless Electric Kettle

I have the same problem as the previous reviewer. Brand new but will not boil. Light on etc but has hidden element. This was a present and do not have receipt but cannot find anyone to repair. The delonghi site does not answer any e mails so customer service also is useless. Complete waste of money wish I had reviewed these sites before putting on my wish list.

This beautiful looking kettle is not all it seems. I am looking at my third kettle - which now will not heat up. The light comes on but the kettle does not heat. I have tried it with an old base from a previous de longhi kettle of the same model and it does nothing. The previous kettle began to leak from the base so I replaced it. However now that the third one has apparently stopped working I wonder how reliable this model is? The base is a sealed unit and there is no re-set button - this is a design fault.
