I bought this LG TV to be the centrepiece of a multimedia home and it performs superbly. The digital tuner is picked up 80 tv and radio stations 5 mins out of the box in a good signal area . The unit looks very high quality and the remote is very well designed - it even programs to operate your DVD , video as well. I then had it hooked up to a media PC and the image as a monitor is crystal clear - reading web pages and emails from 12 ft away . Manual is comprehensive and easy to understand- dealing with all the ways of setting the unit up and the various input/output connections. The memory card reader is another great feature and works will - slot your memory card in the front- hit a button on the remote and you have a slide show of your pics or it can play MP3s . I checked out a lot of TVs before choosing this and for the price versus balance of features I think it represents very good value.
