Linksys WAG54GS Wireless Router

Very pleased the helpline was excellent and well worth using.

The Linksys WAG54GS Wireless Router, BT connection, been connected for a couple of days now had no problems at all yet, the initial setup was a bit of a pain in the ass i feel sorry for people who dont know as much as i do about these type of things, first of all i tried the easy setup option from the cd and this kept failing at the end so i gave up with that supposed easier option and set it up manually like i have with other routers ive owned and then whey hey it was working a treat, i have one pc connected with the cable and a laptop connected via the wireless and so far im very pleased, the current Firmware Version: V1.00.08, i saw in other reviews people have been having problems with connection dropouts, ive had no of that so far, all round a very good product, but im not sure why the cd setup would not work, although i found it easier to set it manually anyway, so far i would recommend this router, but earliy days yet

I am far from being a techno-wiz, so straight away I opted for the option of giving the Linksys setup helpline a ring, to guide me through the installation. The chap who picked up the phone was very compitant and guided me through the whole process and I was totally wireless in half an hour.This is a great bit of kit, speed and connection is always faultless and the internet is excessable anywhere in the house,,Yes even the toilet !!
