WDR041, could be better

Yes, this is a good portable DVD player, but for this money you can find better. The picture quality is fantastic, it's just a shame the audio isn't as good. The built in speakers are weak, and distort at anything approaching listenable in the car, and using the headphone socket, you find a background buzz that you have to ignore or it will drive you nuts. Even got it on the remote headphones too. Product support is non-existent. I registered mine on the NU-website, and have e-mailed them several times as my battery died and the remote control has stopped working, but got no replies. Also, the lack of a menu button and a shuttle switch mean without a remote you are very limited. Would I buy one again, not a chance. Sorry, but there are much better models out there.
ProsCons
Picture quality and design are about it.Lousy peakers and a headphone socket that has background buzz, a flimsy remote. Worst of all, no product support from the manufacturer.
