Samsung PRO815 8.0 Megapixel Digital camera

I bought this model approximately 3-4 months ago and have taken about 12000 images to date. Great, versatile camera from macro shooting to landscapes and all others in between. I shot 1100 images at a wedding recently and the official photographer had a top notch canon slr ... the official photographers photos were second rate compared to the images shot on this camera and the happily married couple requested me to make them a wedding album from my own compilation of images. That reflects the quality of this camera. I dont go anywhere without mine and I am thinking of buying a back up from internet (just in case my original one goes belly up due to the usage I am giving it). Good battery life and a cracki''n 3.5 lcd view at rear with small lcd view at top of camera if low shots are required. I would rate it 95/100 ... one irrating drawback however ... when shooting with the flash on, you tend to get a wee bit of shadow from the top of the lens on your image ... I just pan back a bit and shoot/fix/zoom/crop if necessary on the computer. I use 2GB memory cards (CF) and they hold a huge number of images. Good quality images every time and even if very large prints are required. The lens is top quality. I use a UV filter for protection thou (not supplied). I hope I win a hundred quid for this review ... I will buy that back up Samsung Pro815. Good luck ... don''t hesitate buy one.
