Toshiba 27WL56 27 in. HDTV-Ready LCD Television
Bought at start of Jan/06. Using in a smallish room. Connected to Samsung HDMI DVD player, SKY+ and Pioneer Home Cinema system. Sound is so good that I've actually stopped using my surround sound system now UNLESS the source is Dobly Digital. There is a good range of adjustments for picture, especially like the "backlight" which gives really great variation to the contrast / brightness (in addition to having contrast and brightness controls). There is also a set of 4 pre-sets for picture which can be adjusted to personal taste, for use with different program sources. I'm pleasantly impressed but not totally happy that the picture is as good as the best CRT TV for the same money.
