Shame about the missing lettering

This is a nice looking Smeg oven with a good set of functions, but after a few years of use it has become unusable due to the lettering wearing away around the knobs. Smeg now tell me I should only clean with warm soapy water, but that''s not what it said in my manual, so I have used a liquid spray cleaner of the type generally used in kitchens.

ProsCons
The temperature and function indications have worn away so it is now difficult to use accurately. The little gap above ''smeg'' at the bottom, gathers crumbs and bits which are visible from outside, but difficult to clean out without removing the door
