Bose Docking Station - Faulty remote control
Firstly, my review of the machine itself. Brilliant sound, looks good, high quality product decent volume level without distortion - can''t fault it. The best bit, -18 months after I bought it, the remote packed up completely. Obviously I replaced the battery, (first one it had needed by the way). Then went online to see if there were any solutions. One or two suggestions, but none worked, and it was obvious there were plenty of follks out there with wonky remotes, so I didn''t bother with it for about 6 months, till last week, (now 2 years old). I sent a slightly impudent e-mail to Bose customer services, who replied within 24 hours suggesting a re-set, but not telling me how to do it. So I replied asking for instructions. 2 days later, a brand new complimentary remote control arrived! This for a 2 year old product - BEST SERVICE EVER!!
