Ok, I am using this little gem for a few years now. I have to add that I am working with Cameras (Video and Photo) all my life and when I first bought this converter I needed a new computer as my old one was too slow to capture the images, and dropped frames all the time. I found also that if you use a third party Editor and capture with this the result is of higher quality and faster then using the software that comes with it. Obviously you will only capture as fast as the playback is on the video source, so one minute of video takes one minute to capture. It helps a great deal to have at least a dual core processor and 2 Gig of Ram, no matter what the requirements say as those are only minimum or recommended but in an every day environment the above is better. It works fine with Windows XP or Windows 7 (XP environment) but I am not sure about Vista (also I can not see a problem either as it is a plug and play item and drivers may be useful but I did not needed any)
