Certainly not HDTV ready, however as a replacement for my 19 CRT PC monitor, with the added benefits of viewing TV on it, it certainly lives up to the requirements. And a steal at only £399

This product does not appear to be HD-TV ready, as stated, as there is no HDCP connector which nearly all digital inputs from Skys forthcoming HD service to DVD players with a digital output demand. As it also has no Component input the progressive scan feature can not be used except as a glorified PC monitor.
