Whirlpool AFG7080/Ix expensive when fails

We have had the appliance 6 years without any problems. Now the main board or control unit is constantly clicking and it is classed as uneconomic to repair. We bought with a matching fridge and so to replace with similar we''ll be looking at another 1400 UKP. I wont buy whirlpool again.

WHIRLPOOL AFG7080/IX FREEZER

Great until it started to go wrong within two years of purchase. Whirlpool less than useless. Have seen other forums with owners describing same problem on same and other models. Forget Whirlpool. Looks good but doesn''t last.
