A lot of money for an unimpressive cooker
When we had our new kitchen designed I went against my wife''s wishes and went for the bigger (6 burner) Rangemaster 110+ as I do most of the cooking and rather fancied this big, black and steel beast as it looked the dogs doodads.
I reckoned that being part of the Aga group the thing would be worth the price.
It''s already looking like I made a bad choice.
We have the dual fuel version with gas hob and double electric oven and grill.
On installation the internal wiring on the connection panel and fans is very poorly fitted with no cable restraints or ties.
Then there is the main build quality which is generally atrocious, almost tinny.
From straight after delivery I am still awaiting a visit from them to sort out the following:
ill fitting storage drawer with loose edge trim and rust (yep rust on what is supposedly stainless steel) forming on 4 terribly bad spot welds, loose time display unit, loose name plate, loose screws on flue vent, marks appearing on the handles which look like rust forming under the chrome plate, Marks in the steel which look like faults in manufacture, the grill seems not to heat properly on setting position 2 and the thermostat on the left hand oven seems unreliable.
The fan is very noisy too and the oven internal panelling falls off if your not careful on moving the shelves.
Now I don''t expect these sort of problems with an oven which cost the better part of £2000.
I also don''t expect to have to keep chasing them about coming out to look at it either.
It is now 3 weeks and I have had to contact them again but they still aren''t able to give me a date for their intended visit.
All in all this was a very bad choice by yours truly and I can''t recommend this oven or rangemaster-aga

| Nothing at all - it''s just a big cooker with a big price tag. | Build quality of just about everything is very poor. |
