Does E85H support Component Video

I wish to use my extra Dell flatscreen TV monitor as a TV screen connected to my Panasonic DMR E85H. I found a VGA to component video cable - however there may be a problem. Will the E85H support component video? The warning is Blue Jeans Cable is quoted:"Almost all devices which use an HD15 connector will support an RGBHV type signal, but not all will also accept, or put out, a component video (y/Pb/Pr) type signal. If you try to hook, say, a DVD player's component to an ordinary computer monitor using one of these cables, it just won''t work - a cable can hook it up, but it can''t convert one kind of video signal to another. If you device will support component video through the HD15, you"re in business: it the manual doesn;t say it will, it probably won''t" I hope I didn''t lose you. I''m lost. Please Help - I do not use either piece at the moment and would like to marry them.

Good Points: Excellent picture quality. Chasing Play enabled (timeslip). Excellent navigation system. High speed recording (not enabled out of the box) Multi region available (through PRC Direct) Simple to use and creates DVDs suitable for other DVD players. Bad Points: Uses DVD-R or DVD-RAM only. Verdict: Highly recomended

Simple to switch between the two modes of use. Has a Large Hard Drive for recording high quality video from the TV. Video recordings transfere to DVD with little loss in quality. Lots of input and output ports, including co-axial and digital. The menus are easy to navigate. May find it difficult to use the record function while recording VHS tapes to the Hard Drive. Since this is a fairly advanced DVD recorder. May want to buy a cheaper unit, or become familiar with DVD recording on your computer with a DVD recorder before considering this unit. Also, if you’re looking for a unit that records in different formats like DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, etc… This unit is NOT for you. It only records in two formats: DVD-R, which is read by almost every home DVD Player, and DVD-RAM, which is a relativly new format and not supported by older DVD players/recorders.
