The Displaymate Interactive whiteboard is an incredible product. It facilitate the lesson and make it much more fun as I believe many interactive whiteboards do. This new technology is something every classroom should have. The problem with the Displaymate Interactive Whiteboard comes when you need help and try to use their website, as the Displaymate or Interactive technologies will be a bit disappointing and you will find yourself searching here and there to find an answer. With most of the other interactive whiteboard you can download the program directly from their webpage and their sites offer you a wide range of products and help, which Displaymate forgot to do. It seems to me they are only worried to sell their boards and programs and that is all. At the moment, I am trying in vain to find a pen for my board and that is how I got here on this website. Maybe because you can write on this interactive board using any dry marker pen they dont care telling you where to find the pens, which I would really like to have. I have invested a lot of money on this board, projector and so many other items and I dont think I should now write on it using an ordinary pen and I even have done, as I dont have the displaymate pen and the result was not exactly what I expected, as it was quite difficult to clean the mark of the pen from the board, once I dont have the right product to clean the board and my normal cloth didnt clean it all and I had to use a bit of saliva, believe me. I bought mine new from an online auction and it came with an old version of the software, the 2.15, which has a bug and Displaymate knows it as they say on their website they have fixed the bug with te version 4.1. So make sure the sofware which comes with your board is not the 2.15 as this one is not going to work and you will spend a few days, two weeks in my case, to find out it doesnt work and to find someone from displaymate to send me a link for a new version, the 4.1.
