| Ask A Question About - Sony Vaio® Vgn FE21M | dissapointed Sony fan 25th March have this laptop for about 2 years now:
- screen shows more and more stains inside
- clicking harddisk (solved by inst unofficial patch)
- majority of burned dvd's dont work (also low speed burning)
- sony click-to-dvd software is not working
- battery broken after 1,5 years working on mains.
- paint on both keyboard and volume buttons is dissapearing.
- space bar broken
I will never buy sony eguipment again, I'm very dissapointed. replyAndrew 27th August Well i thought since I love my 21m i'd give this some balance!
The clicking hard-drive is an old problem and yes does have a patch which is widely available, although its mostly one of those problems you hear on the interent as thats what people come here to do , qest problems and look for solutions.
My 21m is amazing! screen prints can be fixed by cleaning it! (shock horror), and the on board software is fine on mine, windows is just updated to service pack 3 and the battery still lets me be wherever i want for a good 3-4 hours before wanring me to plug in!
Finally, i would tell anyone to get one if they can especially if its thru the cheap since its been out qwuite a while, although u may have to pay a little more for extra's for the likes of a docking station now, its an amazing piece of kit all-round! (Waiting for approval) |
