The two models are identical apart from that and share the same manual... replysony rdr hxd710 30th October i bought mine 1 year and 1 month ago, was great at first but just after the years up it is going pearshaped! it will record somethings but not others it keeps giving the message not enough disc space for recordings yet ihave over 100 gig left on the HDD sony are not completely itnerested saying they will offer ""good will gesture of £200 to fix it!though might cost lot more! havent had it in for repair am so cross at the faults on an item i exected to last a good few years! replyMilé 8th December Can I connect the HX710 through firewire with my PC?
